Hodgson Vo Tech, making its first—ever trip to the state football finals, took care of business last night at Delaware State, handing Caravel Academy a 26-14 loss and becoming the first 13-0 team in Delaware high school football history. The playoffs were expanded in 2004, and no team before Hodgson Vo Tech ran the table from wire to wire until last night under the new format.
Congratulations to the Silver Eagles on their historic (in more ways than one) trip to the tournament.
