Just some observations as to why one may consider moving to an area so close to the ocean, but without a lot of the “big beach” commercialism…

1. At any point in Sussex County, you are within an hour of a beach. After all, isn’t that what living in an ocean area is all about ?

2. As far as ocean communitites are concerned, Sussex County is one of the quietest, non-commercial areas I’ve ever been to.

3. The inland communities are quaint, and not far from necessaries and other ammenities.

4. Sense of community.

5. The schools aren’t bad.

6. Considering other ocean-bordering communities I have read about, the pricing of homes in Sussex County is not all that bad.

7. Grotto Pizza (sorry…had to throw that in).

8. Sussex County is a vital community…even out of ocean season. One of Rehoboth’s biggest festivals of the year, the Sea Witch Festival, is at the end of this month.
